It has been a little bit of time since my last postings. I've been a bit busy and a bit in the typical "dark space" of a painter where you need a breath of fresh air and inspiration. So I followed some well given advice and discovered some new art and then (just to get the juices flowing...) repainted older paintings to get into the flow of things. I reviewed a few classes from http://thetroddenpath.ning.com/ including the  Mitsi B classes. http://www.mitsib.com/ Here are a few of those pieces. I think I dusted away a few cobwebs- so hopefully more to follow.

Other news...I have entered 2 pieces into a local show sponsored by Seacoast Artist Guild.  http://www.seacoastartistguild.com/  So I will keep you posted on how that ends up. I've been a bit reticent to enter art locally since it is a coastal town and I see lots of nature and hammock lifestyle paintings and (though very beautifully rendered) I do not fall into that category. But I have thrown some work out there and hope there are more who appreciate what I do and if nothing else, find like minded painters. I shall hopefully have a little feedback by the second week in April.
I also had a lovely evening at a reception for water colorist E.B. Lewis. FABULOUS!!!!!! It was one of the greatest gatherings of artist and art lovers and in a great venue. It was a very needed shot in the arm. I learned so much. Please check out his work. http://eblewis.com/
Hopefully this is the beginning of a run of work. Hopefully 'NEW' work and not 'revisiting' old work....but painting is painting, right?
