I think this may be one of (if not the) largest painting I've done of late. It is an oil on birch panel. I had a great deal of fun working with the multiple figures and a different color palette. Also creating an atmosphere in the negative space was a fun challenge.  It may not be visible here, but in one of the latest touch ups there are hints of pinks. That was new for me. I've never really been tempted to use pastels, however they really complimented the coolness of this one. The more I play, the more I learn. This one will be available soon after a few more touch-ups. Also I've added a few little items in AVAILABLE PAINTINGS at great prices. Original Art Really does make great gifts! As they say...."Buy art to stare at for when your phone/tablet/tv dies" It really is priceless. So often I will look at several pieces I've collected over the years and see something completely different than on a previous look. It is a purchase that keeps on giving. Quite a few are from my Romantic series. There will be a few more pieces added as the month goes on hopefully. Tell a friend. Thanks for reading and keep on creating. rj
